We're getting into the spirit of celebrating Fall festivals, the first being Navratri - festival of the Goddesses. Many of our members celebrate Navratri with great fervor, by putting up a traditional display of dolls, popularly called as "Golu". Last year, our Marapachi doll decor contest was a huge hit with our members. Inspired by their enthusiasm, we're conducting both Marapachi doll decor contest, and Golu contest, for this year.

Please upload pictures of worship/puja in the Cafe ( by using the "create topic" option). The "upload rangoli" option is to be used for uploading rangolis and craft works. We would also like to request you to keep the rangoli images separate (however small each rangoli is), and not upload them in a collage format.
The following post about addressing members should have been written a long back, however, we hope it is not too late.
A few members had uploaded rangoli/kolam collages, which are still waiting to be published. The problem with these type of collages is that they happen to be made up of both freehand and dotted type of rangolis. We would appreciate it if the freehand rangolis are kept separate from the dotted kolams when it comes to making collages. Thank you.
The veggie-patch rangolis are published. There are three unclickable tags in the veggie patch for the following names; Lata (onion), Anirudh (cucumber), Rajam (bittergourd), Diya (fruits), and Rajitha (okra). They may or may not lead to images in the future. But other than those, we should all be able to see the rest of the submissions without any problems.
The "Let's get growing" flower and butterfly rangolis have been published. Please click on the flower-labels to see the preview of the rangoli. The butterfly tags should lead you to the butterfly rangolis. If you have submitted more than a few rangolis, there might still be one or two rangolis saved up for publishing sometime next week. Since there are more than twenty rangolis, we wouldn't be publishing any more rangolis for this week. I'm sure the fragrance and the sight of these garden beauties is going to keep you too busy for the entire week!
