hai latha...this is a wonderful toplc.....can we upload some items such as d roller or small plastic trays with dots as a design with which a kolam is made out of that...ofcourse a kolam using that piece.....pl let me know...
Rani, this theme is about some pattern (or parts of) that inspire you in making a similar rangoli. It may be any pattern that you find on any object or a piece of fabric (like a design you find on a saree).
Rajam, I look forward to it. I’ll make sure there are no space issues, if there are any.
Brindha, you shocked me this morning! But in a good way. Ellunna ennai – to the extreme!
(Ellunna ennai – I was referring to a tamizh saying which is something along the lines of being very prompt).
Padma, thanks (Pink and purple happens to my daughter’s fav color. Her room is painted lavender, and her rugs and even her switchplate has lavender/purple and pink flowers. Girls!! :0 ) This is the theme I was referring to when I emailed you that I’ll wait for a few days for publishing your blue rangoli. Sure Padma, you can upload the source as a separate one.
Anirudh, thanks.
A few members have uploaded designs already drawn on notebooks/paper/floor as the source image. We are only looking for actual pictures of source objects, for this particular theme. One is enough, for starters.
Now look what you have done to me Lata. This is too tempting for me to resist and I have already found so many designs that have inspired me to remake them, only problem is the time.. I hope I am able to finish atleast one and submit immediately. Looking foward to some fun here soon
Inspirational rangolis would be published within this week. If someone wishes to participate and upload, please do. You have time left, so hurry up!
Brinda, Sudha, Padmashree, Lakshmi, and Rani had already uploaded their designs, many days ago.
