I had always admired Sowmy's lovely kolams and wanted to try them. Finally, on this day I decided to try one of Sowmy's kolam and believe me even a beginner's kolam of her's was so difficult for me because I am so so bad at symmetry (I guess because I am bad at math 
) It was difficult for me to get perfect symmetry on paper so I discarded the idea and took the basic central design of her's (http://www.ikolam.com/free-hand-design-beginner-6) and did another extension. Hope you all like it.

Hello friends...hope you like my attempt to draw a kolam on a door J) ...after trying strokes with chalk which didn't look good did this freehand rangoli with rice-paste...same kolam done on my floor has also been collaged....eagerly waiting for ur views

Hai to all...wanted to try a tiny design as a maakolam...did this kolam and went to continue my kitchen works thinking it would take atleast 1/2 an hr to dry....alas...when i returned after 15 mins it was perfectly dry :bigsmile: but the ants had finished d corner parts

This is a maakolam with kaavi with dot count 13-7 intermediate. Since it was windy, the kaavi powder did not spread evenly. Yet, hope you all like it.
