Happy Kartigai to all IKOLAM members! I had done this kolam this eve for Sarvalaya Deepam. I have used wet rice batter, flowers, designer diyas for decoration, rangoli powder and the border is done with colours mixed with wet rice batter (Judy's idea). Thanks Judy!

Four confocal ellipses were drawn and the bottom portion was cut off. They and their horizontal mirror images were joined at 45 degrees to give the outer and inner patterns. The rest of the rangOli is made up of the usual designs. Enjoy!
