hi
pl. see 21st dec 09 kolam drawn in front of my house
thanks
Its a very simlpe rangoli ...which made attractive with the colors.
Sri Aniruddha was asking for marigolds. This one has chrysanthemums instead. It has a hexagonal steps, tear shapes and their mirror images (six inside and twelve outside), a central red coloured circle with twelve little circles around, crescent moons, six lamps and six flowers. Six and twelve are important numbers in the Hindu mythology. I'll leave it to the viewers give their significance. Regards! - mOhana
This was also done last margazhi by me and my neighbor. our children has a grand time spreading the kola podi all over the place , proof of which can be seen in the picture itself.
Hello Everybody...This Rangoli was drawn on Pongal this yr..Let me know your comments
this rangoli is drawn for a sai bajan held in deivegam kalyana mandapam.
When my grand daughter visited me she insisted on putting rangoli daily. This design I drew and gave the color powders to her for filling. After sometime I came to see her work and wondered how the child had imagined the flowers to be in green and the leaves in yellow. A rare sight no?
This is a free hand design drawn in front of my house during the 2nd day of Margazhi month.Your views and suggestions please..
