Hi,This kolam is drawn in front of my house on first day of margazhi month. I was inspired by Pothys Saree diwali collections name. Hence this was named after that. This Kolam has Dots as well as free hand desgin. ( We all know South India is famous for Dots Rangoli and North for free hand ) ... Your views / Comments please.

Margazhi Dew Drops Rangoli Contest - 2010
A dotted kolam for the contest. Dot count: 15-8
This is my Kolam for this Margazhi season.
This can be made larger depending on the size of the place available.
With experience, perfect symmetry can be obtained.
I have tried to mix elements of rangoli with this kolam - made out of rice flour.
I made this rangoli with free hand (without dots)
- This rangoli is made up of using rice powder, dye colours & river sand
- I am posting this for marghazhi competition
