Parrot flower (Impatiens psittacina) is a flower that is native to Thailand, probably Burma and also the northeastern India in Assam. The name is self-evident. I assembled a few patterns with this and this is the first in the series. Enjoy! - mOhana
This week can be celebrated as "Peacock week" of our ikolam site, since we got to see different varieties of peacock rangoli entries. So, this stencil peacock from my side too

This is a kolam with 9x9 parallel dots. I tried it out with sand colours on my table :), but didn't like the look of the colours too much. I wish I had chrome yellow, sap green, a nice purple, maroon, etc. I'm dreaming big here
