The mango trees
the gentle wind
and the songs of kOkila
in the season of spring
bring back your memories
Where are you?
An assemblage of koels singing in the spring is the theme here. Enjoy.

Ajji inspiried aunty (Lakshmiji's co-sister Prema Murali) to draw rangolis and she came up krishna with a pot of butter, hanuman and garuda.
After the Bangaluru Meet I was tempted to put kolam using finger tip.( Hence design also has hands with fingers) when I drew the kolam my neighbour lady who is very good in drawing and wanted to learn kolam/rangoli making said she will put the colors. So I just told her to fill the gape inbetween the 2 lines and this is the final outcome. She was so thrilled . I took the photo immediately for u all to enjoy. How children enjoyed u can see in my blog.
this pretty pride peacock is freehand drawing done on the tiles with glass painting colours.
Arthi plates done for my nephew's reception a couple of years back. Most of the creations are "Wealth out of waste".The flower plate done with pencil shavings, another one with the shells, bird plate from cuttings of old greeting card etc.
This Gokul Krishna is my inspiration for the Glass painting and rangoli
Instead of straight dots 3-1, I used `+' symbol and double stroke for this simple kolam. I think this is oldest way to put rangoli using double stroke, four strokes. There are many rangolis of these style, can help me to get all those.
