Rangoli: Rangoli put for navarathiri
Created by radha.vijaykumar on 2010-10-20,

Hi pple, this was the rangoli which i had put for the navarathiri 2010 at our home. It mainly has the symbols of the three main goddesses worshipped during this period. To mention in detail, the eyes and 'shanku' and 'chakram' stands for Durgadevi who is worshipped as the main goddess in the first 3 days of the navarathiri. Hands showering gold coins stands for Lakshmidevi, who is worshipped the next 3 days and the Veena stands for Saraswathidevi who gains prominence during the last three days. Would love to hear your comments!
