My first attempt at a full fledged rangoli!
I must thank ikolam for really inspiring me to even make an attempt to try out a rangoli outside home...its a simple freehand rangoli clubbed with flower petals in the outline...

Hai to all...as this is my THALAI DIWALI-1st diwali after joining IKOLAM PA...he he.......I am celebrating this wonderful day along with Deepa....this design is her idea and we agreed to do it in our own style....(thalai diwali-first diwali whch comes after marriage is very spl for d newly weds here in T.N)...HAPPY DIWALI TO ONE AND ALL....

This kolam is specially drawn to wish the ikolam founder Lata mam and the early ikolamite members like Judymam,Rajammamam,Jeya mam,Lakshmimam,Brindhamam,Bharathi mam,jkm uncle and many ,who became a family thru this site.This kolam is done by Mrs.Rani selvaraj in kola kuzhlal to wish u all a happy and prosperous DHANDHERAS and wonderful DIWALI.my kolam of same pattern in free hand follows this post, that too dedicated to the Predecessors of ikolam site and Lata mam as a token of love.
