@ my home - Drying the painted Elephant dotted kolam for the Diwali event - dublin 2010
Rangoli display for Diwali in dublin 2010. This is the second snap from the collection.
Ashta Dasa shakthi peeth is the park created for Golu 2009. This display is designed w.r.t to Ashta Dasa Shakthi Peetha Stotram by Adi Shankara. I've just tried my best to create the ambience for each shakthi peeth. For example, to depict Saraswathi temple in Kashmir, i've created the ambience of snow mountain, water fall and , for madheswari temple - i've created the ambal's head with orange dough and decorated ambal as in the tempel and so on. This is the hand painted frame work done by me to present it to my aunty for their house warming ceremony. In this I've done some photoshop work to show it in different angles .The first one is the original picture (2011 calender )which was my inspiration to do this painting and 2nd one shows its look before framing, 3rd one shows close up picture after framing and final 4th one shows the full framed view. Hope you all enjoy this ...
