Rangoli: paDikOlam - 39 - paDikOlam as chikku kOlam

A single line 3x4 sOnA pattern was drawn with an extension on one side of the three-dot row. This was distorted into a triangular form and four of these are combined to form a square with two lines. This square was further rotated by 45 deg. A small filler at the centre and lamps on all the four sides were added to obtain the present pattern (May 27). Even though the patterns are quite different, the inspiration for this one, however, was Mrs subhAshiNI's recent pattern. Enjoy!

Rangoli: A rangOli with 1 to 21 to 1 dots or 11x11 dots - 3

Here is a rangOli drawn like a square temple. The outer square is actually made of four 2x9 sOnA patterns. Then we have four 3x4 sOnA patterns and finally a svAstika centre. These are all interconnected. On the whole, this has four lines. Enjoy!

Rangoli: A rangOli with 1 to 21 to 1 dots or 11x11 dots - 2

This is a rangOli I started quite some time ago and only today (23 May) finished it. There are four colours in this and two svAstika-like motifs. If you rotate the present pattern by 45 deg, you'll get the 21 dot pattern. Enjoy!

Rangoli: paDikOlam-38 - paDikOlam as chikkukOlam

Another attempt at giving a paDikOlam look to a chikku kOlam. Enjoy!

Rangoli: A rangOli with 1-21 straight dots or 11x11 dots

This is a rangOli with 1 to 21 straight dots or one with 11 x 11 dots. One can go from one to the other by a rotation of 45 degrees. Basically this contains four 6 x 5 single line sOnA patterns connected at the top. Enjoy!

Rangoli: paDikOlam - 37 - paDikOlam as chikku kOlam

Here is a paDi kOlam worked out in the chikku kOlam fashion. It is nothing but a sOna square of 3x5 single line patterns with gaps at row1-col3 and row3-col3. The square is turned 45 deg to give the paDi kOlam look. Just to fill the space a 3x3 pattern is placed at the centre. Enjoy!

Rangoli: Name it, if you please!

I started with the idea of doing one thing, but it became something else. Here is a pattern with a single line, even though I used two colours. You be the judge and name it.

Rangoli: rangOli with 10x10 dots

Here is another rangOli drawn using 10x10 dots. However, all dots were not used. Enjoy!
