Hi All, this is the Varamahalakshmi Devi at my home, celeberated on the festival day. Generally we keep the silver "Mukhavada" instead of ready decorated coloured face of Lakshmi which we get in market. I just wanted to share with you.
For us it is now shravana MAsa running, and I made this kolam on one shravana shanivara (saturday). A simple kolam placed in X shape with additional touch.

I was very much impressed by Brinda's Kuzhal Kolams and hence tried this. This is my first kuzhal kolam. Thanks Lata, Brinda and my kolam friends for teaching me lot many varieties of kolams. I created this kolam, inspired by JKM sir's hexagonal kolams. It may not be technically a perfect hexagon but lead to the invension of new kolam. Your views pls...........
