This kolam with wet mavu was put for Ganesh Chaturthi. The colour mix in the four squares in the kolam and the border kolam has been inspired by ikolam friends. Though, I am not very good at it, I made an attempt. :bigsmile:

This Chikku Kolam was put by me on last Friday. Wanted to do some more decorations, but could'nt, due to lack of time.
Thanks to Jaya Ma'am for the information that 20th March is World Sparrow Day. I put a very small sparrow kolam. The dot count is 3,4,5 (increasing on the left side) and 4 dots by decreasing one on the right side.
I put this wet maa kolam for Kaaradayan Nonbu. This 9x9 kolam is from my collection of kolams brought down from generations.
This kolam was put by my daughter for Shiva Rathri. She had no time but still she managed to put a small kolam. (No time even to colour the leaves.)
Dot count is 3,5, 7 (3 times),5.
I had earlier uploaded the same kolam, which was put only with white kola podi. Now, I am uploading the coloured version of the same. I had actually intended to put this for the Marghazi contest, but since it looked dull on photo, I changed my contest kolam. On floor, it looked very beautiful. Your views pl.
