I have been trying to make such a kolam for a very long time. The dot count is 11 to 6 inbetween and 5 to 1 on all the six sides. My mother-in-law encouraged me in executing this.

This is a wall hanger. The flowers are done with M.seal. The outside paintings are done by Fabric colours.

This design I have drawn free hand and filled with color rock salt, put outer border with flower petals....easy to fill.

Dots: 23 X 11 ...extend for the outer flowers.
One day I want to fly as a bird
to the edges of paradise
and look at the mud below
from the sky above
Will I still see the sea of sorrow
or the mountains of joy?
Will there be tears of sorrow in my one eye
and tears of joy in the other?
I know not.
