This is the chitragupta pooja kolam, asking Chitra gupta to highlight our punya first and write our paava last, when God asks him to show our life total to decide our next birth [as said by my mother].
This was done years back for Onam celebration. Me and my friend put this butterfly Rangoli with flower.
Wish i had some color podi for this kolam ....

I am not that hardworking just hardly working.
These roses were decorated by my husband in a mud vessel with water and was kept in front of our gods photos.
This is the happy vishu pookalam made at my house on the Vishu day.
