This design is drawn with 7-7 straight dots. You can guess with what materiels it is colored and fenced.(My grand son named it Sevenup kolam after I colored the blue portion... may be it looked like 7.)
This sikku kolam is a padi kolam of 4X4 dots.

After seeing recent upload of Vasanthi's hexagon shaped chikku kolam, I was tempted to make these kutti kolams with the dots 5 - 3. This is will be useful for beginners.
A very familiar chikku kolam done by me in my pooja room. Used blue and pink colors. Hope you all like this.
