How was your Pongal Lakshmi? What did you make besides Pongal and vadai? I never really had the chance to find out what the menu is like for people originally from Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh during this occasion. While I'm talking about something else, other than rangolis, I would like to point out that people like you and me can talk about other general things that interests us here too
I enjoy gardening (would post some pictures some time next month), baking and reading other than going for movies and get-togethers. I often wonder what some of our members' interests are...would be fun to find out, don't you think?
Wow, I like the pattern of the butterflies! Are the parts between the butterflies some green moths? Yet another simple yet cute work! Good work, Chithra m'aam!
Simple, yet charming, and pleasant to the eye! I especially like the shades of the colors you've chosen. It's interesting how the flowers and leaves branch out from the stars. Cute!
Rajamma ma'm, good idea!!!! it looks nice,if u added jaggery then
"ELLU,BELLA" u could have given to all members of ikolam(this is followed in karnataka)
mean time have sent video rangolis.to view this in main page go to kolam section in that view miscellaneous, and give ur comments.
Divya, Nice design.I love putting this type of kolams(.If you don't mind I want to tell that always avoid putting Three ezhai (as put in the outer ring).2. 4 , 5 ezhai are OK).
If you put Kaavi(red outline) it will look more nice.

Rajamma m'aam, your grandaughter is so lucky to learn from you! It must have taken you a long time to align the sesame seeds so perfectly!
I like how the feathers were drawn! The shades of blue you've chosen are especially elegant!
Akhilandeshwari m'aam, your works are especially vibrant and appealing to the eye! Your choice of colors definitely makes the bird pop out visually!
Very precise and vibrant!
