Hi swetha thank u so much.what did u used on water?is it rice flour or wall distember.if rice flour is used try to use the fine flour.try this u should get it now.

Lata ,usually five colours is sacred.iam sorry i did not have one more colour(black )five colours are to be used for all vratha rangolis. it is called(panchavarna rangolis)thank u so much lata.

Thank you for the fast response Lakshmi, the rangoli looks so beautiful! Are there any rules about using certain colors (since this is for the anathana vratham), or could we use any colors?

Here is the rangoli you were looking for. It was created by another ikolam member and her name happens to be Lakshmi too (Lakshmi devi).

Thanks. Yes you can use rice flour to make such padi kolams. I dont have soft copies of any padi kolam design with me. I just do whatvere comes to my mind.
