Beautiful rangoli! The color combination is fantastic and like the idea of decorating the rangoli with potted plants around it.

excellent colors and bright combinations! wat a filigree work !! I 've never seen bees in a rangoli b4, cho cute and disciplined they are ;) indeed a smart idea to have potted plants around, helps forming a safe border to avoid stepping on it. :) Alarmelu Regu

I just asked about Padmamma and here is her kolam. The moment I opened this page, before reading your description itself I guessed it was her work only - she has a trademark about her kolams. Bright colours and very neat presentation. Please convey my wishes to her Kameshwari :)

Thank you all for your encouraging comments for Padmamma. Judy mam you might have seen the other rangoli also of Padmamma. Friends! Padmamma first make a big round with the help of a rope(one side) tied to her toe and a chalk attached to the other side fo the rope and by turning a full round she make the big round. Then she fills the back ground with the colour(kolapodi mixed with Tata Salt or Ashirvad Salt). After spreading the colour she draws the designs on the coloured base. Then she beautifies with borders etc. Once again thanks for your commens.
