Simply superb Viji. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was Rajam's ribbed colour kolam or maybe a carpet kolam from Brindha, but I was pleasantly surprised to see your ekolam. WOW looks wonderful as the colour combination is excellent and the stitching is done very neatly. Is the green portion cross-stitch?? If so, what you should have done is, on the right side while stitching, you should have put the left top to right bottom stitch first and then overlapped the right top to left bottom. This way when you look at the picture it would have a mirror effect making this ekolam look perfect - hope I am correct :)
