pongal kolam 2010 in our street, this year all kolam was fair. not good

The procedure to make under water rangoli - You could use a tray or a broad plate to make this rangoli. Apply oil or ghee on the surface of the tray/plate and draw the rangoli/design. Leave it for five to ten minutes ( for the rangoli to absorb the oil). Pour water slowly along the edges of the tray. The design would still be intact and you could reposition your tray according to your choice.

This pongal kolam is very nicely drawn, and colored. I love the basic symmetrical blue/purple design seen around the center brown flower. Combination of yellow ochre and maroon makes this rangoli even more beautiful. Thank you for uploading it here for all of us to enjoy. Smile
