Coreopsis is a summer flower. It has eight petals with an approximate eight-fold symmetry. A flower with eight petals is quite rare. I found three varieties in yellow, red and pink. Here is an assemblage of these. Enjoy!

Coreopsis in yellow can be easily found in California gardens, in summers. Colorful and pretty assemblage.

Mohanaji, I am happy that at least you are all gifted to see these type of flowers. I really thanks a lot for sharing this. All the flowers are very very nice. Your arrangement of flowers gives an additional glowing effect to the flowers. I liked the pink one very much.
