I know that there is no such as a symmetrical amoeba (or is there?), but an amoeba is what came to my mind when I first saw the center part. Smile

rajamma_2's picture

So I bring in amoeba, rail poochi, worms and octopus inmy kolams to play around?

Lata's picture

Actually, you bring in all that, and more; amoeba looks more like a sea-turtle now, and I also see heads of birds (beaks, eyes and sharp brows) arranged in a clockwise position. Smile

I like this quite a bit!

Normally when we look at a rangOli, we can make out what it is. We appreciate it for the effort put in and the technical abilities displayed. But here is a seemingly simple pattern which can be interpreted in many ways! Are there elephant heads? Are there bird's heads? Are there ducklings? Is it a steel plate? (When I was young, I used to see a stand for rubber stamps like the one at the centre Smile Is it an amoeba? It is an exercise for the head! Certainly, this is an enigma Smile
