This is a 9x1 dot kolam, an extension of 5x1 kolam. I have modified the outer chuzhis to honey bee structure. Do they really look so? I was too enthusiastic in preparing colors. The first being brown (smelled like Choclate)and had prepared in excess and was looking out to use in my kolam.
Please give your views and suggestions.

Straight dots: 9 - 1
This is quite a simple kolam which just took me 10 minutes to make. I modified a kolam I had seen on the internet to get this design. Changed the flowers to look like hearts and added a blue and pink water bed around the hearts to make it look really romantic. In case there is a valentine collection coming up, here is my contribution.. HAPPY VALENTINE DAY FRIENDS..

This is a small chikku kolam with 9 to 1 straight dots. I have already uploaded this kolam earlier during navarathri days done with wet rice paste; but the image was not clear. So I'm again uploading it which is done with kola podi. This is my favourite kolam.

Straight dots: 9 - 1
Couple of days ago I had not prepared what kolam to put so I just put dots 9 - 1 and started joining the dots as I pleased and this is the outcome - a Valentine Kolam. The kolapodi which I had bought recently was not of very good quality and though I had mixed rice flour it was not spreading properly so I had to apply the podi again and again to try and achieve a little bit of neatness and here is the final product - your certification is needed here dear friends..

This is one of my regular kolam. This is partially dotted. The dot count is 9-1.
