Due to some urgent work I could not put kolam. My grandson Sashank(5 year old) said "Paatti I am sad and upset because there is no kolam " I promised him to put before he comes back from school. So this kolam I had to make hurriedly. When he came back, with out removing the uniform he enjoyed the kolam with his name in it.Green white color to match his uniform.Little things like this brings more color to your life no?
Used wet color rice mavu to draw this. Dot count is 9 to 5( in betweendots) and 2,1 on all six sides.( can find the drawing in my gallery)

This is one more my free hand rangoli using my emboss technique.
Free hand rangoli. Emboss the area which you like with waste rangoli or with sand. Then sprinkle colour on it.
This is my freehand rangoli. In this I have used some sanskar bharati techniques.
