I made my valentine card with a heart in the center. I used red rangoli powder to color it in, and drew two hearts on either sides. I used pink sugar crystals to color my pink hearts!

Lata asked me to participate in the romantic rangolis event, and I had to think of something really fast. All I did was open up my daughter's valentine cookie box, and placed four of them on a plate. Happy Valentine's day!
Here is my 2 minute valentine rangoli. I drew up a bird on a folded paper, and cut two stencils out of it. I've used a red card-stock as my background. Along with the two birds, I placed a big heart shaped candy box lid, a small heart-candy, a plastic flower, and dusted white rangoli powder over the whole arrangement to make this quick rangoli. I know, it also looks like a face.
Romance will be in the air at ikolam, and we're excited!
Everyone has their own way of celebrating Valentine's day. We have our own unique way too.
Receiving a romantic rangoli is ikolam’s dream and can turn any shivering days into the sunniest. And in honor of Valentine’s Day this upcoming Sunday, we would like to request one of your red, white and pink romantic rangolis.
Do you have any special favorites? We’d love to see and read about them.
You do have a few days to post, and in the meantime, we'll try to feel content with our dish of red and pink M and M’s.

This is the season of Music and Dance and I wanted to portray this in the kolam. First, I decided on the dots count and practiced all the instruments in the dots. The instruments used in the kolam are Veena, Violin, Mirudangam, Tabla, Flute Nathaswaram. Lord Nataraja (Lord of Dance) is depicted in the centre of the kolam.
I dedicate this kolam to all music and dance lovers.

This is a dotted rangoli. I had created this rangoli 5 years back. But, back then, we had not introduced the commenting feature, and so, it never got any feedback from any of our members. It was time for these beauties to swim up!
