PEACOCK RANGOLI DONE BY ME FOR 9TH DAY OF PONGAL, IN OUR SIDE, THIS DAY IS CELEBRATED AS MAYILAR.
Hi friends,HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY .
26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign and republican state. The country finally realized the dreams of freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since. This was drawn by myself and Bharathi.
My hearty wishes for a Happy Republic Day of our great nation. I tried to depict some of Our National Symbols within the tricolour. I did this with freehand. My hubby helped me in designing this Rangoli.
This kolam I draw in one margazhi day with colour and kola powder
This was created for Pongal. Please comment on it...
