Tried Padma prakash maam's paper version on floor. I did this during Navarathri festival. Was not well for sometime, then guests, was not able to log on to ikolam at all. Sorry for the late posting!

This is from my old collections( during my initial days of learning to draw kolam). During margazhi season, i saw this in one of our neighbouring streets. Could not find the dot count. With trial and error me and my sister came out with the right count of dots. Hope you all like it.

I gave a display of the real hridayakamalam the other day which was obtained by successively rotating the motifs by 135 deg. Suppose they are rotated by 225 deg (360 - 135), what we get is not the mirror image of the previous one, but an entirely different pattern that is shown here. For comparison, the earlier pattern too is shown in the inset. Enjoy!
