This is a free hand kolam drawn in front of my house during Margazhi days...your views and suggestions pease..
This is another lotus pattern that i tried for the month of marghazhi.
i made an out line of design and added colours for tht
i drew tht out line with the help of marble powder for filling colours i have added differnt colours like pink green etc to make my rangoli more attractive
and finally i drew the out line once again with marble powder to make it or appear the out line very clearly........
Rangoli for daily usage and even may be used on fridays to be little special.

dots 15x8..with dots placed in between....
Kaipidik-kolam. Dotted kolam. Kaipidi means handle in Tamil.

Here is another set of 4 pookolams that I had put sometime ago but forgot to upload. Dot count mentioned in the picture itself. The bottom two are my personal favourites. Except for No.3 all the rest were done in a hurry so it did not come out perfectly
