We decorated this floral rangoli on Diwali day. Instead of using powder colors we have used natural flowers of different colours.

After seeing Rani's and Padma's double ezhai kolams, I tried the design with 6 fold symmetry. Since my helper Anita left the job due to health problems, I colored it myself in her style.

Again the origami cucumbers...but since i used the plain green paper, they are also looking as different vegitable hmm is it chowchow (tonDekai - kannada)? Symmetry is missing for the center design. I made bell flowers in orangish-yellow paper normally cumcumber flowers are yellow...due to shading some turned out red 
(original origami designers - Katrin & Yuri Shumakov)....added some quilling touch to the creepers, leaves just modified the bird base to get 3pointed leaf.

hi i designed this in photoshop using tomatoes.i thought of putting this in veggie patch only but because i went out of station i am uploading it now for display.
