Hai to all...this kolam was done for Varalakshmi puja....we do puja to our Tulasi Madam...as such I don't have a TULASI MADAM (HOLY BASIL LEAVES) but ironically the tulasi grows in abundance in our area...we keep maavilakku, sakkarai pongal and tie Nonbu Kayiru(white threads dipped in manjal) by d hands of unmarried girls....

This kolam was done using recycled arisi maavu. I know the traditionalists will kill me for this odd practice. But I found it convenient!!
