Lata
A one of a kind pattern! I like the idea of mixing turmeric to get the yellow color in the last piece. I have a question; who got to eat the special dosai of the day? :)

Judy Ma'am, you should have made the same in photoshop too! NOw you have become an expert in wet arsimaav, I find it to be most dominating among the three! Great job!

Yes Lata, one of a kind - that's what attracted me to this kutty kolam.. Hehe actually the crows got the koladosai, you know why?? I had to put the dosamaav in an old oil dripper and pour it on to the tava as it was quite difficult doing it with the karandi - that's how I got the curves so 'almost perfect"...... Actually Vani, I did not even think of that - such a nice idea and I should have implemented it too - I could have done one on photoshop and also tried one with earbuds. Mext time I will surely do it... thanks for your suggestion.. Yes, wet arsimaav is anyday the best method (queen of kolams I should say) and drawing a kolam without dripping is the challenge - correctaa Rajamma and Jaya??

Radha it is very simple - just mix a little rice flour powder and saffron powder to add water to make it like milk consistency - then take a small piece of soft cloth and dip it in this liquid and squeeze with fingers, allowing your middle finger to touch the ground thereby allowing the liquid to flow through that finger to form the design... (I think Rajamma already explained this couple of days back - same instructions only you have to add manjal podi to the arsimaav).
