Hi friends Happy Bhogi. This small kolam with colour powder drawn by me for Bhogi. Dots are countable.
Here is wishing you all a happy sankrAnti and pongal! sankrAnti is a sun festival. There is a sankrAnti every month. makara sankrAnti signifies the day of the northward movement of the sun. Our calendar is so out of sync that we are celebrating it nearly three weeks after the event 
Here is a rangOli where the basic pattern is made of sugarcanes! In the centre is the rice pot (seen from above). The white circles are the bubbles from the cooking On the outside we have sun-like symbols. Enjoy!
