Kolam for beginners
Traditional kolam designs suitable for beginners. The steps to making these kolams are pretty self explanatory. Start with the dots (if any) and then followed by the lines. Once done, optionally, the enclosed areas of the kolam may be filled with color rangoli powder.

This is my Karthigai kolam...though it is a common one, I like it very much since there are many lamps included in the design!!
