This is the rangoli i made when i participitated in one of the rangoli competitions here in my complex. This is my life's first ever participation in a rangoli competition :)
Kolam for beginners
Traditional kolam designs suitable for beginners. The steps to making these kolams are pretty self explanatory. Start with the dots (if any) and then followed by the lines. Once done, optionally, the enclosed areas of the kolam may be filled with color rangoli powder.
