Hridhaya Kamalam Design kolam with dots.Dots kept in straight lines on all the directions of the inner circle
This design is copied from an old Tamil magazine.I didnot do any decoration since I want you all only to enjoy the weaving pattern of the design. I have used only 2 colours. It took some time ( 2 hrs ) to keep the dots and to draw the thin lines connecting them properly. Just tried Adobe Photoshop to give a mosaic floor effect.

This design was in my old kolam note book which I drew on the floor and colored with dark and light blue with a tinch of of yellow. Hope you will enjoy this.
This one is a simple morning raaga for beginners to enjoy and try.Before I could colour it neighbour children tasted it.So just plain black and white kolam.
Dear friends after a long time I tried one simple kolam on my kitchen top.Though the photo quality is not good I am just sharing it.A simple puzzle piece like design is repeated everywhere/joint in different angles to get this design. I have only colored the inbetween gaps.If you are interested in this type of kolams I have some more for you to try!
This kolam was drawn in single ezhai and decorated with some flowers. But when I took the photo I do not know what mistake I did., the kolam appeared as if done with double ezhai and the shadow giving a 3D effect. I want you all to enjoy my camera trick.
6x6 dotted designs joined with little extra extensions.
Just a simple dotted kolam drawn by different color lines to show the different layers. Just for beautification I tried dotted lines.Hope you all like it.
Tomorrow the 8th March is Holi cum women's day! What a coincidence. THE woman is as colorful as Holi colors and brings "Vasantham" in the life in the form of multifaced /coloured petals of a flower!
