Rangoli: Lakshmi Rangoli

This was done for 2010 Navaratri. Colored in the rangoli primarily with sand, used glitter for jewels and sequins to depict the coins

Rangoli: Mehendi on paper

Lata, I am resubmitting the mehendi work on paper one as requested by you.

Rangoli: rangoli with pulses

I did this for the multicultural night at my daughter's school. As always, used rajma beans, moong dal, masoor dal, green moongm barley and some chori dal(the small red ones). Hope you all like it!!

Rangoli: rangoli with mehendi

This was my first attempt to draw a mehendi design on paper. I started off by drawing some concentric circles with a compass and began filling it with all the detail using ball point pen. Then went over the whole thing with the mehendi paste and in the end, added some gold and black beads which I had with me. I think this can also make a good rangoli design on the floor.

Rangoli: Mehendi on paper

This was done on a water color paper and highlighted with a black sharpie pen. The outermost border was done using colored pencils as I ran out of mehendi paste

Rangoli: wall hanging

This was made with acrylic paint on a placemat. I just wanted to do this small rangoli to put out as a decoration on my front door during festive times.

Rangoli: hearty rangoli

Got inspired by the ikolam theme and braved the cold weather to do this rangoli.

Rangoli: Baby Krishna

Rangoli done for 2009 Navarathri using coloured sand and rangoli powder. For the gold jewelry used some tiny golden beads, red and green stones were depicted with sequins and used sabhudana(javvarasi) for pearl jewelry.
