I have been trying to make such a kolam for a very long time. The dot count is 11 to 6 inbetween and 5 to 1 on all the six sides. My mother-in-law encouraged me in executing this.
I was thinking of making a fairly big kolam. But it started drizzling when I was making it. Thought that it will rain heavily which made me change my mind. The result is a simple kolam.
My sis-in-law made this rangoli today in front of their newly shifted house (for milk boiling function I went today).
I made this today at 5 a.m since I had to go to a function early in the morning. I did it hurriedly.
Nowadays lots of elaborate rangolis are coming in from Vani. For a change see this simple one which I made today.
