Sarees

Lata happy to see the newly started thread saree section. I am eagerly waiting to see new design saree. First let me showcase my recently finished mirror work saree. The zari prints are there. The between mirror work is done by me. I had seen many shops above the prints one simple hand embroidery gives more elegant to that saree and if it is done on zari work it is more costly. So better we can get a printed saree and do embroidery according to our taste and wear proudly. What do you say? viji

I love wearing sarees. But unfortunately here in US only sorry to saree. But still i will wear sarees on Fridays and on all auspicious days. Viji madam i love this saree. Very good work. The color looks really rich.

Rajusree, how should we address you, I hope you ok with being addressed as Rajusree? (If not, just let us know) :) I know what you mean. I went through the same lifestyle changes that you did. Guess what? When you reach the stage where you'll have to drop your oldest one to school, and carry your younger one to places running different errands, you might let go of wearing sarees on Fridays too ( I did, because it was cumbersome to get in and out of the driver seat 10 times a day. And I wasn't happy about letting go of some of those little things) :)

I know lata maa'm(or lata), i have a 2 year old and waiting for one more baby by oct. I think i will be getting busy in the years to come. Still want to wear saree. I know driving with saree is really hard. These are the sacrifices we need to make when we live in a different culture. My name is Padmasree, u can call me by any name that's o.k. for me.
