The kolam might be familiar to many. I just tried drawing it digitally. I designed this in Macromedia flash software.

It takes 25 minutes to complete this rangoli. The photo was taken before sunrise.

9-1 interweaving. 2,1 on 4 sides. Flowers for all seasons!

17 - 9 interweaving. roses can always cheer you on a bright morning!

9 - 5 interweaving, 2 on all six sides. colourful flowers for a cheerful day!

This is a pookkalam I made for Onam in 2008.

Name of the Kolam: Sanku Pushpam.

Dots: 21 to 11, interlaced.

4,3,2,1 on all 6 sides for lotus.

Medium used : Wet rice flour.
