I used to prefer doing pookolam.
Because it can be anywhere i neednot worry about the floor colour.

hai ikolam friends,
i made this floral arrangement ,when my sister came to our home.
Pookalam done by me on the occasion of my niece wedding recently. Lovely fresh flowers and fern were used to decorate & heart was filled with Kozhi poo which had a velvet touch. Wax candles were lit n placed on the tip of Kuttu vilakku.

Dot count: straight dots
first 19 X 7, decrease in steps
then 3
then 5 two lines
then 3
then 9 two lines
handle free dots as needed, flowers are free hand drawing, thanks again.
Floated some flowers and 2 tea light candles in a bowl of water. Then placed those leaves and flowers around the bowl. kept some candles on the table bordering with the colored rice.Placed those greeting cards to convey the diwali wishes. I placed it facing the house entrance for a warm welcome
