This is a dotted kolam. I drew this in my small courtyard.

This is a dotted kolam. Dot count is 11 to 5, inbetween dots.
Used wet white rice mavu and for red color used food color.
Mix 2 drop of fevicol to the rice flour. And stir it in water. Now it is ready to use.
we put this kolam infront of thulsi maadam.

i am sure this set of 5 - 5 dots kolams are easy for those who are in the learning stage.

easy kolam for those who are just learning to draw kolams...
dots 13 - 13
This kalasam (hope I am correct) kolam can be drawn for occasions such as a wedding, grihapravesh etc, I have drawn this kolam in such a way to show how the dots are connected just for those who don't understand - whereas actually it should be drawn in continuation to cover the dots - hope you understand what I am trying to say.
Image on the left: 15 to 8 dots. Tried when i was free, fiddling with a pencil. Hope its come out well. Please comment. Will try putting it with kolam powder in front of my house one day and color it. it will definitely look good with colors.

dots 11 - 1
Another one of my favourites which I am sharing here with my ikolam friends.
it is a dotted kolam with triangles. Dot count is 11 to 5 in between dots. If used color rangoli powder it will be more attractive.
Scanned the image from my book and outlined in MSPaint.
Dots: 23 X 11 ...extend for the outer flowers.
