This is a mirror design dotted kolam. There is an outer frame and an inner frame. The dot count varies for the inner frame and the outer ones. The kolam has interlaced dot style, and is one of my favorite mirror designs. The bird beaks at the ends could be replaced by snakes tongue, if one wants. Clicking on the blue button shows you how to draw.

This is a hexagonal chikku kOlam assembled with a 3x5 pattern. Note that there are four (white, blue, light orange, pink) coloured strings. In the centre you will find a grey version of the same pattern rotated by 30 degrees. This grey version has the hexagonal symmetry whereas the coloured one has less overall symmetry, only a two-fold axis (180 deg rotation). There are six triangular knots formed by different colours. Enjoy!

Another set of poo kolams, dotted for a change for people with limited space. These can be coloured too. I am sure many of you will enjoy this..
It is a simple dotted kolam ( 10 dots 10 lines.. straight one) Colored with colour kolapodi. Due to Heavy rains , not able to put kolam outside. So tried this kutti kolam in the drawing room.
