Hi all, this is a chikku kolam that i made last friday by referring to one of the latest editions of Aval Vigadan. It was so pretty in the AV magazine and i was tempted to try it immediately. However i'm not satisfied with the outcome. Still thought of sharing it with you all.

Saw one cute chikku kolam with 9-1 dots in Maha's gallery and read the interesting comments for a comment.I tried the same kolam with wet maavu but could not take a photo since camera was out of order. Yesterday again tried the same but ended with a different version. I accept it is not that easy to copy the original with out trial.

Here is a paDi kOlam worked out in the chikku kOlam fashion. It is nothing but a sOna square of 3x5 single line patterns with gaps at row1-col3 and row3-col3. The square is turned 45 deg to give the paDi kOlam look. Just to fill the space a 3x3 pattern is placed at the centre. Enjoy!
