The collections are wonderful.
May I know, that in your place Rangoli is regulary practiced as in India ?
How do you exhibit this in your home, in the varandah ? in front of the house ?

You should add Hrudaya Kamalam to your interaction. You need to start with radial dots with uneven number of of them eminating from center uniformly in eight directions. In the dot-to-dot this will be the formula you use.
For 3 dots in eight direction: Connect 1 to 3 to 2 to 1 and continue until the line closes.
For 5 dots in eight diections: Connect 1 to 4 to 2 to 5 to 3 to 1 and continue until the line closes.
For 7 dots in eight directions: Connect 1 to 5 to 2 to 6 to 3 to 7 to 4 to 1 and continue.
I hope you got the formula for 9, 11, 13 and so on.
Liked you site a lot. It is a great way to connect my grand daughter with our culture. Keep the good work.
I'd emailed the person who had sent us that kolam for the dot count...but didn't hear back from her yet. I'd let you know once I hear some response.
Thanks,
-lata
