Ingredients:
Green apple peeled and grated, salt to taste, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup grated coconut,2 green chillies, 1 teaspoon oil, 1 teaspoon mustard and fresh curry leaves.
Method--make a fine paste with coconut and green chillies.(grind and make a paste). Grated apple, salt, yogurt, coconut and chilly paste in a bowl and mix well. Heat the oil and saute the mustard till sputtering. Add the curry leaves.
Finally mix with apple mixture. Serve with rice as a side dish.

Shobha, for me this recipe looks like a good one to try during the summer months. Because that's when my green apple tree is going to be fruitful.
