Dots one single kolam is 1 - 5 oodu pulli. All small kolams are inter-connected to create a welcome kolam. To make the colour powder free flowing, add fine rava to the rice powder.

Meena, was this done on the floor? I was under the impression that it was drawn on the paper, and am sure many of the members are too Smile

Great imagination and wonderful work.

It is simple and beautiful but it looks like paper drawing to me also!
If you have used colours with rava for easy flowing
it won't come so bright! Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Nice four-fold symmetry for the individual rangolis
and an over-all two-fold symmetry for the whole piece.
Some more care could have been used when placing the
stars at the centre of each smaller piece. Good
effort. Best of luck and regards! - mOhana
