Regarding rangoli uploads

Some of our members who had uploaded rangolis in the queue, were requested to wait for a few weeks to upload any further. Almost all of the backlog has been cleared, and all members are now welcome to upload. It seems to me, that atleast a few of the members didn't get the message at all, since I didn't see any difference in their uploading pattern, since our last "request". 
Going forward, it may be a good idea to upload one rangoli at a time, wait for that to get published, and upload another. If you must upload more, then please don't exceed more than two. This way, nothing waits in the queue for a long time.

There is only one queue for the whole site. Everyone's rangolis gets stacked one over the other. The ones at the bottom gets published first. Ofcourse, the topical ones (well known festivals/occasions) get preference every now and then.

Thanks Usha.
I wish everybody reads and follows these basic guidelines. I see that a few hours ago, two of our members had posted multiple rangolis (5 to 7) and some of those rangolis are just the same pictures taken in different angles. And then we may be required to answer to emails as to why we didn't publish all of them. This is extra and unnecessary work for us. Sometimes I feel that it is futile to bother posting guidelines that may not get read at all. Silly of me to try.

The instructions were more for members who upload many at a time and email me, within a couple of days, wanting to see them all published within the week, Padma.
