Belated Christmas wishes to everybody I guess :) I like your simple way of adding extensions to the dotted kolams. I think you make use of rice flour and not the rangoli white powder.

The main idea of putting kolam with rice powder is to feed ants. Anil, Kaakkai also enjoy eating the rice kolam. So Setu madam is really following the tradition . rajamma

Generally with rice flour its difficult to draw continuous lines like any rangoli powder. But the lines are so perfect and we cant easily make out that it is made of rice flour. Thank you very much for sharing rangoli and background story. do you mix any thing to rice flour.

no we don't mix any thingwe prepare poweder at our home from dry grinder which we use for purpose e.i.wheet/ rice /dals etc all fresh no mixinf pure atta of rice thanks for compliments
